Empirical combines AI agents and managed test infrastructure to create and maintain end-to-end Playwright coverage for your product. Your test suite lives in a git repository you can review and clone. Tests run against deployed environments such as staging or production, so Empirical can validate real user flows without access to your application source code.

Start here

  1. Create a request when you want new or updated coverage.
  2. Configure environments for each deployment you test.
  3. Trigger a run from the dashboard, CLI, or API, on a schedule, or after a deployment.
  4. Review the run report, artifacts, and history in the dashboard. Use snoozes to suppress a known failure temporarily.
You can also clone the test repository, use the CLI to work with Empirical agents, and connect Slack, GitHub, Linear, or Jira.

How work moves through Empirical

When you submit an open request, an agent session starts with your description. The agent works in the test repository and produces changes for review. Once those changes are merged, test runs execute them on Empirical’s managed infrastructure. Empirical engineers monitor results, investigate failures, and keep the suite current as your product changes. When a run finds a problem, you can inspect the report in the dashboard and receive notifications through configured reporters or Slack channels. Watch the demo video for a full walkthrough:
